What does Rimbøl Teknik do?
Rimbøl Teknik develops and manufactures customised solutions for automated production. Our areas of expertise include complete feeding systems, custom machinery, vibratory feeders, and other units for handling, sorting, and feeding components. We also offer 3D printing as well as service and maintenance of existing equipment.
Does Rimbøl supply complete production solutions?
Yes. We can supply complete feeding systems and custom machinery tailored to the specific production task and the equipment the solution needs to work with. The systems are designed, assembled, and commissioned at Rimbøl before being delivered to the customer.
Can you develop a solution specifically for our production?
Yes. A large proportion of our solutions are customised. We base the solution on the components to be handled, the required capacity, and the rest of the production line, and then develop a solution for the specific application.
Can Rimbøl equipment be integrated into an existing production line?
Yes. We develop feeding systems and custom machinery with a focus on ensuring that they work together with the customer’s other machinery and automation equipment. We can also supply individual units for replacement or for further integration into a system built by the customer.
Can we purchase individual units without a complete feeding system?
Yes. Rimbøl supplies circular feeders, linear feeders, silo feeders, conveyor feeders, component feeders, step feeders, drive units, and other individual components. These can be used both for new installations and for replacing existing equipment.
How do you ensure that a solution works before delivery?
The feeding systems are assembled and commissioned in our workshop. Where relevant, the functions are tested using PLC control, allowing the system to undergo an automated FAT test before delivery. This makes it possible to verify functionality and interaction before the solution is put into production.
Can Rimbøl provide documentation with the equipment?
Yes. Rimbøl’s systems are designed in 3D, and both complete systems and individual units can be supplied with accompanying documentation. For relevant custom machines, a technical file can also be provided.
Do you offer service and repair of existing equipment?
Yes. Rimbøl offers servicing, troubleshooting, repair, and refurbishment of existing equipment. This may include inspection of springs and coils, calibration, replacement of coatings, repairs, testing, and subsequent commissioning at the customer’s site.
Can you help assess whether existing equipment should be repaired or refurbished?
Yes. We can inspect the existing equipment and help determine the scope of any required refurbishment. Based on the inspection, we can also prepare an estimate of the work required.
Does Rimbøl also work with robotics and vision technology?
Yes. Robotics and vision technology can form part of the automation solutions we develop. For example, custom machinery can be combined with robotic solutions for handling, orienting, or packaging components.
Does Rimbøl offer 3D printing as a subcontracting service?
Yes. In addition to using 3D-printed components in our own solutions, we also offer 3D printing as a subcontracting service for other companies. We have both SLA and FDM technology in-house and can therefore manufacture both highly detailed components and more mechanically robust parts, depending on the application.
